Let's say you had 20-30mill in silver. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on the best/fastest way to put that money to use to double, triple or quadruple it? So i am not talking about Hell gates, ganking or dungeons. Is it using your island farming high end crops or mounts in some capacity? Buying/selling off the market in caerleon?

Trading, either at one market flipping items or importing/exporting between towns using mammoth.
Crafting stations in towns might be one way to make silver also but i havent researched their profitablilities.

Could you give me a few specific examples? I am based out of Martlock

You can make a lot of passive income from your island, but that requiers you to hive high specs in whatever you are farming. Mounts are an example. You need high specs on ox or horse rising to gain a ton of money from T7-T8 mounts. You wont get much with T6 or lower and dont even try rare mounts..those will make you lose money.

If your specs in farming are low, your only other option is buying cheap and selling high in the market. Blood chalice is a good way to make money, if you are willing to transport them through the redzone with a mammoth.

Tip: pay some bodyguards to escort you if you are transporting in a mammoth.

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty high in crops as I have focused on nothing but carrots so far, (5 plots a day). I can do T8 crops but I have only put points in carrots. Should I change it up?

buy yourself 2 alt with premium for a month and build a max upgraded farm and grow carrot with one of your alt till he get spec 100 then pay his premium back when it run out so you alway have 3 island with carrot each day to make a background income, then i would trade leather frommartlock to carleon for active income, and get to t8 with a gathering and refining on main character.

that what i did , now im rich and i play whatever i want when i want

Booooom. This is the kind of advice I need. Thank you @Serbal. I have never done cross town smuggling trips. Any advice on the Martlock to Caerleon trip? My main char now has carrots down to about 300 focus to water. Do I just keep going with this or the alt?

carrots are good...however, you need multiple islands.

Get 2 other characters, pay their premium to get an island and make your main character a co-owner.

Make sure all island have 5 farm plots(max upgrade).
You will have 15 farm plots of carrots. That makes a good amount of extremely passive income. You can get about 1 -2 mil per day for doing almost no work at all.

How ever, make sure your carrot specs are close to 100 or you wont have enough focus to water all the 15 farm plots.

Good advice here for farming if thats your liking, however its definitely not 1-2 M/day, more like 400k depending on carrot prices +- seeds which depends on your focuscosts. Its nice side income though and totally predictable and safe.

Most farmables are similar profitwise, ofc seed prices vary a lot but so do the returns so in the end they are all even, just check on markets which is good and focus on that, ofc prices can change and you dont always want to chase the highest prices since you need higher specs for cheaper focuscosts.

Theres always people running pyramid schemes to double your money within a week. You can risk it one or two times

Step 1: Equip a hallowfall, poison helm, royal jacket, and scholar sandals.

Step 2: Go brainlessly win CDs and get rich with no effort.

I am rather new to this game, and i have to tell you that making money is a really great issue for me. I mean, maybe it is due to the fact that i am new to the game, and i don't yet know everything about it, or maybe i am just a bad player.

There is many options but as you said there is a lot to explore as a new player and while some things may seem good from an experienced players perspective, it may not be very enjoyable for newer players.

A couple of good moneymakers early on:
Daily expedition - Do the T4 once a day, the T4 sigil usually sells for 25k.
Solo Dungeons - Can be done in blue or yellow zones, helps you level up your gear as well.
Corrupted Dungeons - Can be done in yellow zones too, it can lead to PvP but you don't lose your gear when dying in there.
Gathering & Fishing - Will make you less money early on but it's far from dangerous when doing it in blue/yellow zones and can be very relaxing.

If you want to risk and increase your rewards you can do several of these in black zones, for example solo dungeons or hidden treasure hunting, I'd recommend not going over your reaver level for the dungeons and equipping gear you can easily replace when entering risky zones.

If you have not gotten to Tier 4 weapons and gears, a good way to get money is farm Tier 3 resources and sell them in the market. Do save up a bit to get an ox mount. that way you can carry more while farming. you can also choose to move between towns to check out the trends in the market. create toon characters and station them at the main city so that you can check the trends each day. Make sure your toon is naked, cos far travelling naked is free. Once you have an idea what to farm for, bring the Ox and go farming. Below is a map that I made for travelling. you can use it to plan how you want to travel between the towns and cities. Note that you will LOSE ALL EQUIPMENTS AND BELONGINGS THAT YOU BRING WITH YOU if you die in the RED ZONEs, so do avoid. I wanted to use the shortcut but learnt the lesson the hard way. Now my slowly rebuilding my resources again. Play Safe and Stay PVE.
